| Vee Ganjavian, the highly successful powerboat racer and entrepreneur from Southampton, England has taken another significant step forward in his push for the 2008 Powerboat P1 World Championship Supersport title with the announcement that highly rated Gareth Williams, 29, will join the team as throttleman for the season ahead. Gareth is a former RIB World and British title holder who, between 2001 and 2004, took 25 podium finishes and 17 outright wins from 28 starts in F2. He is director of a boatyard in Southampton that specialises in the storage and preparation of powerboats and has a strong association with many UK offshore teams including several P1 competitors.
