Asif Rangoonwala, Chairman of Powerboat P1 Holding Limited, joined the Chief Executive of Powerboat P1, Jim O'Toole to officially open the new offices in Marylebone, where a 20-strong team will be responsible for all aspects of this year's 14-race season that now embraces three continents. Jim O'Toole said: "We have enjoyed life at our riverside location in south west London over the last 3 years but, with Powerboat P1 having become one of the fastest growing international sports and entertainment properties, we were very much aware of the need for a larger and more accessible office with first class facilities. We are looking forward to growing the exhilarating and dramatic sport of Powerboat P1 from our new home in Marylebone." The 2008 Powerboat P1 World Championship gets under way next month when around 20 teams will compete in the Italian grand Prix of the Sea in the Adriatic Resort of San Benedetto Del Tronto.
