| Currently Racing Director of the Volvo Ocean Race, Andy will take up his new position in early March with responsibility for the operational delivery of all P1 races which, in 2008, includes 14 World Championship rounds. A graduate in Physics and Electronics, Hindley has been responsible for all syndicate and athlete contracts, race management, team liaison, on board media and television delivery and host venue interaction at the Volvo Ocean Race. His seven years' experience in managing every aspect of race operations for one of sailing's most prestigious global events will be invaluable as Powerboat P1 continues to establish its credentials as a world class powerboating championship.
