Italians Angelo Tedeschi and Fabio Magnani enter the final Powerboat P1 event of the season in Portimao this weekend knowing that, to claim the Supersport World Championship title, they must win the P1 Portuguese Grand Prix of the Sea outright and probably with maximum points over the weekend's two races. That's a tall order for the Roscioli Hotels Roma boat in a category that has been highly competitive throughout the season. "It has been a fantastic season," enthuses Angelo Tedeschi, the charismatic owner/throttleman of Roscioli Hotels Roma. "The competition in P1 means that every race is a battle and to have been up at the top for the whole season has been very special. We invested in a brand new boat and engines and a new driver, Fabio Maganani. Well he is not that new - wrinkles and lots of grey hair - but 'The Doc' has proved to be a great driver, very experienced and an asset for the team."
