Ein wenig überraschend hatte der Evo Champion 2006, Giancarlo Cangiano, in Portimao seine Kooperation mit Outerlimits Powerboats für die Saison 2008 bekannt egeben. Während Cangiano eine Outerlimits SV40 in der Evolution Kategorie einsetzten wird, zeigten einige Teams Interesse, das Boot als seriennahes Modell mit den Spezifikationen für die SuperSport Kategorie zu kaufen. Wie Hersteller Fountain könnte dann auch Konkurrent Outerlimits in der Powerboat P1 Weltmeisterschaft 2008 mit Booten in beiden Kategorien vertreten sein. |
