| Many congratulations to Richard George of 225hp team “Scream-it.com” who auctioned off the team’s navigator seat for the final race weekend in Liverpool for a staggering £4,250. The auction at London’s Grosvenor House was held to raise funds for DebRA, the charity that supports families affected by the skin blistering disorder Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). Richard’s main reason for racing in the Honda Formula 4-Stroke Series has been to help raise funds and awareness for DebRA. |
His initial idea was to offer a trip in the boat but the thought of allowing someone to race in the series as the team’s navigator packed a bigger punch and judging by the result that’s exactly what happened. A bidding war resulted in Chris Howe, an Essex based property developer, winning the navigator’s seat and what a job he did, assisting the team to eighth position on Saturday’s 225hp race. The Fight Night raised in the region of a staggering £400,000 in total for DebRA. |
