| “I am very pleased with the way things have gone today. We had one or two little problems yesterday but today we got into the swing of things and produced some consistent and quick laps,” said Sheikh Hassan. “There are some little differences between this boat and the one I ran last season.” Curtis was equally upbeat about his fist outing with his new driver. “The only thing I have to get used to is Hassan but I am very happy with everything so far. Our times were close to my pole winning time last season and we can only get quicker with more time on the water together.” |
Bevor es richtig losgeht, ordnete Teamprinzipal Sheik Hassan noch einige Testrunden in der Bucht von Doha für sein Qatar Team an. Der Sheik möchte damit sicherstellen, dass beim Qatar Grand Prix 2008 alles funktioniert. “Beide Qatar Crews werden testen um sich mit den Booten und miteinander vertraut zu machen um sicherzustellen, dass alles zusammen funktioniert. Wir werden keine neuen Konfigurationen ausprobieren. Es soll vielmehr dazu dienen uns wieder zu akklimatisieren.“ Die ersten offizellen Trainingsfahrten für die Class 1 finden dann am Donnerstag, 28.02.08, statt. |
