Die letzte Trainingsmöglichkeit vor dem ersten Grand Prix der Saison fand nicht viel Anklang bei den Teams, nur sechs Boote nutzten die Gelegenheit. Mit 2min42,23sek dominierte dabei die „Qatar 95“, die damit gut acht Sekunden schneller war als die Teamkollegen Sheik Hassan und Steve Curtis in dem Ersatzboot. Das Victory Team ließ es locker angehen und drehte lediglich je zwei Runden für Einstellungsarbeiten. Heißeste Kandidaten auf einen Sieg in Doha sind die „Qatar 95“ und die „Victoy 1“. |
