Foresti & Suardi back on the water

| The Italian-Norwegian pairing is back in their favoured number one raceboat, Foresti & Suardi. The duo recently completed a series of speed trials on Italy’s Lake Iseo, establishing a Class 1 speed record of 240kmh. “The run didn’t go as smoothly as we had hoped, but we were pleased with the speed we achieved,” said driver, Kolbjorn Selmer. “We hit something on our run which damaged the rudder and propeller and made life a little tricky, but to be back in our number one raceboat felt very good.” Montavoci, who relishes rough conditions, and Selmer now turn their attentions to the Montenegrin Grand Prix where they will be hoping to take full advantage of the anticipated rough seas on the outside leg of the course around the island of Sveti Nikola. “Rough seas are my conditions, they suit me and the boat and I am sure we will have a good outing in the next race.” |
