Nachdem Selmer 2005 die beiden Trondheim GP organisiert hatte, stieg er 2007 in Oslo zum ersten Mal in ein Class 1 Boot und gab kurze Zeit später beim Romanian GP an der Seite von Domenico Cirilli in der „VM Foresti & Suardi“ sein Renndebüt und holte zusammen mit Giampaolo Montavoci beim Egyptian GP einen beachtenswerten fünften Platz. Selmer sammelte vor der Class 1 Powerboat Erfahrungen bei Poker Runs, der norwegischen ProVee und deren Nachfolgerserie Mercury V1. |
