| Jotun and Victory 7 unexpectedly came face to face, but Jotuns Crew were able to avoid the stationary Victory 7. The incident occurred when the Victory 7 crew of Talib Al Sayed and Nadir Bin Hendi hooked their boat at the first corner as they tried to make up lost ground after being squeezed at the start of the race. Fortunately for all, Jotun’s driver Christian Zaborowski and Throttleman Jorn Tandberg reacted instantly to avoid a possible collision. Victory 7 recovered from the hook to go on and finish fifth, but Jotun retired on lap 6 due to a minor technical glitch. |
