The system used at the Air Race for keeping time during the race is fundamentally different than other time clocks. The Air Race time clocking system measures three-dimensionally and at a speed of
a thousand times per second from different perspectives. In addition to the running time, the system also provides the current centrifugal force, the speed of the aircraft and pilots’ pulse.
