I might have been a bit too cautious in the second half but in the first section I was clearly among the best – and knowing that I’m looking forward to the future. It’s important for me to keep getting better but at the moment everyone else seems to be getting better too. The times are getting closer all the time and I hope that I can keep learning from race to race to close the gap. I need some time. I didn’t really expect that I’d feel as comfortable as quickly as I do already." |
“I expected to be last today but I had a better time than yesterday and my best time of the week. The time was good, but the position wasn’t good. I think I was about four seconds faster than yesterday and two seconds better than the week’s best. But that’s still five seconds too slow. The flying conditions were very good, it wasn’t very windy, not too hot, and not bumpy.” |
