Penalties for errors

| Pilots committing errors on the course suffer time penalties in seconds. For major flight errors a pilot can be disqualified. Time penalties can be given for incorrect Gate fly-throughs, incorrect navigation of slalom gates and incorrect manoeuvres as well as striking a pylon. The penalty seconds are summed up at the end of each round. For incorrect manoeuvres, pilots receive three seconds; a pylon hit is 10 seconds while course deviation or dangerous flying means immediate disqualification for the pilot. |
