| Prior to this weekend’s Red Bull Air Race in Istanbul, Michael Goulian decided to swap his new propeller for his older model. “The new model was severely lacking in the last race. It was faster but needed a longer acceleration run to really get started,” says Goulian. The 38-year-old American pilot is angling for a finish among the top five in this weekend’s race over the Bosphorus: “The Istanbul course is certainly the fastest one so far this season, but it has sharp corners and tight curves. Without hitting any pylons there’s plenty of possibility for a surprise.” |
