| After failing to win a single point in the first three Red Bull Air Race World Series this year in his CAP 232, Ivanoff is about to switch into an Extra. The Frenchman’s new plane is scheduled to be ready in time for the race in Interlaken (CH) on 14 and 15 July 2007. Before he takes delivery, however, the new Edge will be put through extensive testing by the manufacturer in Germany. The most impressive characteristics of the Edge, which was developed and built by Walter Extra Flugzeugbau in Germany, are its light weight and high degree of handling flexibility. |
