Klaus Schrodt (GER/Lobo) was already eliminated on Sunday in the qualifying when he finished 13th. Nicolas Ivanoff (FRA/M.R.T.) was forced to withdraw earlier on Monday, suffering from a strained neck.
Ivanoff had taken a promising sixth in Sunday's qualifying. More than a million spectators watched the race, the seventh in a 10-stop season, in Budapest on a national holiday.
